What Has Been Your Best Digital Experience?
19 August 2014Is The Future Bright For Call Centres?
8 October 2014Now in it’s 5th year and after out growing their previous venue The UK Customer Experience Awards took to the stage at the ExCeL London.
There were almost 30 finalist categories in total, each with up to 5 entries, from a wide mix of industry and company sizes. With big brands and household names; British Gas, Royal Bank of Scotland and McDonald’s rubbing shoulders with new, up-coming and smaller businesses; Gousto, Whittlebury Hall Hotel and Graze.
The one thing they all had in common; A passion for customer experience. With each entry showcasing a range of projects and achievements from individuals and teams, who inspired, developed, or, helped deliver this. It was also really pleasing to see so many embarking on Customer Experience for the very first time.
Neil Skehel and his Awards International team put on a great and well run event. The winners were presented with individually designed glass art awards, which looked very impressive, Neil also managed to secure Heather Small from M People, also an ambassador for Barnado’s, who performed a fabulous half hour set, featuring many well know hits! The lyrics for some of which seemed written for this very event.! as what better question to ask that sums up this event than from Heather’s song ‘Proud’: ‘What have you done today to make you feel proud?
With a response from each of the entrants with their very own stories, as they should all feel really proud of their achievements.
Congratulations to all of the winners! The Overall Customer Experience Award Winners were Northern Gas Networks, who won no less than 5 different categories (every one they entered!) – Well done, what an achievement!
