Top 10 Reasons CEOs Are Chasing Away Top Performing Talent and Executives
Each day, CEOs and senior leaders face immense pressure to drive results, inspire their teams, and deliver on ambitious goals. The stakes are high, with every decision impacting employees, customers, and the bottom line.
The most successful leaders understand one simple truth: you can’t do it alone. Exceptional leadership isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about surrounding yourself with the right people and creating an environment where they can thrive.
Over the past two decades, we’ve worked with organisations of all sizes, from Series A-funded scale-ups to global FTSE 250 companies. Across these varied landscapes, we’ve observed recurring mistakes that can derail even the most well-intentioned hiring and leadership strategies. These missteps don’t just impact your ability to attract and retain top talent—they cost time, resources, and, ultimately, growth.
