Chyrels career spans over two decades, marked by her transformative role as the Chief Operating Officer at One Housing and now as an Executive Leadership Consultant and Non-Executive Director for the NHS. Chyrel’s dedication to fostering inclusive environments where every individual can thrive is not just commendable; it’s a blueprint for how leadership can ignite systemic change.
Her journey and perspectives, particularly on the challenges and opportunities within the social housing sector and her own lived experiences as a female black leader, provide a compelling narrative for transformation and inclusion.
Chyrel is passionate about the social housing sector, fostering inclusive organisational cultures where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. She identifies the current challenges facing the sector: customer expectations, sustainability, regulation, governance and economic volatility—as opportunities for strategic and visionary leadership. This era of complexity demands not only operational excellence but also a swift, communicative response to the fast-paced environment. It’s a call to action for leaders to be adaptable, insightful, and communicative in their strategies.
